Getting Started

So I'm way new to this whole blogspot thing but either way here we are.....James and I have been together for 6 years now. An insane amount of time for a couple who has yet to marry, but I'm ok with it. We've been engaged since March 28th, 2007 and although he would have had us married the week after I'm the one holding us back. We've owned our home for about 4 years now and it has yet to be fully furnished or completely decorated. I had a blank slate. I am so lucky to have a man who lets me do whatever I want with the house. He says...and I quote..."I don't care what you do with it...if you want hot pink walls we'll get hot pink walls." He's so dramatic I don't even like pink:) As cheesy as it sounds I am most proud of my KitchenAid stove. I am head over heels in love with KitchenAid. Anyways, we may not have a lot but what we have we've worked hard for. James and I both work full-time and have no children together. James has an 8 year old who does not reside with us but when we do have him we love and relish our time with him plus. I think he also goes a little nuts cause when he's here I have all 13 of my aunts and uncles and over 40 cousins on my moms side that fight over who gets to spend time with him. He has to love it, cause he call them "his" aunts and uncles.
